The Martin Family

I grew up with Stephanie, our parents were close friends and went to the same church, so a lot of my memories as a child have Stephanie and her sister, Renee, in them! So naturally, I was over the moon when Stephanie asked to hire me to photograph her family! She's such a sweet and genuine person and she has the most beautiful family, but she's also very well known in the community. Everyone loves and respects her. Her father used to be a photographer and she's worked with a lot of other photographers that I admire, so the fact that she was coming to ME was and still is surreal.

I had never met Zackery in person before but as soon as he answered the door he made me feel welcome and comfortable. It's no mystery why him and Stephanie ended up together. A match made in heaven, for sure. It might sound cliché, but if you know them you know what I'm talking about. They make total sense.

I traveled to her and Zackery's home just outside of Wellsboro and it's so beautiful there - like their own little slice of heaven. I believe Zackery said they own about 120 acres. It was a dream. They had all of these beautiful purple and white wildflowers lining their entire driveway.

Stephanie and Zackery are childhood sweethearts and have such an amazing story. I love reading about it when she posts on Facebook because it reminds me a lot of my own and is so relatable. Gabriel and Gideon were so fun and energetic. It made for great candids. Their session was the perfect mixture of posed and unposed shots.

You could feel the love pouring out of all of them. This one shot of Zackery with his sons just gives me all the feels. It was completely unposed and unprompted. They both ran up to him at the same time and gave him the biggest hug. You can see and feel the love Gabriel and Gideon have for their daddy.

Thank you so much, Stephanie and Zackery for allowing me to be a part of your memories! I loved visiting and working with you all. I can't wait to do it again soon!
