Hey there, lovebirds! I'm Rachel.
I’m glad you found your way here.
I’m going to cut right to the chase. I’ve spent and wasted a lot of time worrying about what others think and now I’m just here doing my own thing, what I love and what I’m passionate about — photographing you and your love and creating some rad art. I take what I do seriously and I want to capture your moments. The real moments. Not the forced, posed and fake ones. That’s not me and it’s not you. I’m sure you’re here because you’re interested in my style and that’s cool AF and I’m stoked about that! If you want a photographer that gets truly invested in your story, then look no further!
A lot of my inspiration comes from vintage photographs. They’re timeless and really exude raw and honest love during a simpler time. You can really feel the happiness and carefree attitudes when you look at them. It’s something I strive to create and capture in my own work. It’s what I want to achieve and immortalize. When I look back at old images, I get an overwhelming feeling of nostalgia and appreciation for the past. They’re all we have left from those times. And in 50-100 years from now, your images will be all you and your family have left from now.
A little more about me — I’m a stay at home mom of two girls. I’m a homeschooler with a degree in education that I don’t really use. We travel a lot because my husband does. We’re blessed because we get to see all the beautiful corners of the world, which is another reason I love photography. I get to meet new people and make new friends all while photographing them in these cool places. I’m definitely not your average gal, but I do have some basic attributes, which include a hankering for creamy coffee, some yummy tacos and a strong desire for adventure and unique experiences.
I am self taught and am always trying to build my skills and knowledge by investing as much as I can into my education. I attend classes and participate in as many workshops as possible in order to perfect my craft. #knowledgeispower
