Annalyse & Brett
Annalyse & Brett's Romantic Parque Ridley Creek Wedding
Some weddings just have it. Annalyse and Brett's Parque Ridley Creek wedding outside Philadelphia was one of those days—and easily one of my favorite weddings I've ever photographed.
Set against the stone architecture and sprawling gardens of Parque at Ridley Creek, their celebration felt like stepping into a springtime fairytale. Romantic, fashion-forward, intentional, and completely alive, every part of the day gave me something to photograph.
From the castle-like venue and garden-party atmosphere to the incredible fashion and an absolutely electric dance floor, this was a wedding that was genuinely so much fun to be a part of.
The Setting
Parque Ridley Creek is one of the most unique wedding venues near Philadelphia. With its historic stone architecture, grand estate, gardens, and surrounding greenery, the venue has an almost castle-like quality.
For Annalyse and Brett, it created the perfect backdrop for their romantic spring wedding.
The whole day felt like a garden party meets fairytale—soft, romantic, and a little bit magical. The gardens and architecture offered endless opportunities for portraits, while the estate itself brought so much character and atmosphere to the photographs.
I could have spent all day exploring this place.
The Day
There was so much intentionality woven throughout Annalyse and Brett's wedding.
But perhaps the biggest statement was the fashion.
Annalyse wore a unique Saint Bridal gown that felt incredibly fashion-forward and completely her own. Brett wore a custom suit, bringing the same level of thoughtfulness and personality to his look.
Together, they looked incredible.
And because fashion was such an important part of the day, I wanted the photography to reflect that. We made space for portraits that felt more editorial and considered, while still leaving plenty of room for the candid moments happening around them.
The Vibe
If I had to describe this wedding in a few words:
Romantic. Fashion-forward. FUN.
There was so much beauty and intentionality, but nothing felt overly precious.
And then the reception happened.
The dance floor was absolutely lit.
The energy was contagious, and I was right there in the middle of it, photographing all of the movement, laughter, and questionable dance moves.
It's weddings like this that remind me why I love what I do.
The Photography
Annalyse and Brett gave me so much room to be creative, and I had an absolute blast with it.
I approached their Philadelphia wedding photography with a mix of documentary moments and editorial portraits, using the architecture, gardens, fashion, and light to create something that felt elevated but still completely alive.
There were the beautiful, intentional photographs—but also the moments that couldn't have been planned.
The real laughs.
The movement.
The people losing it on the dance floor.
The little in-between moments.
Those are the images that make a wedding gallery feel like an experience rather than simply a collection of pretty photographs.
And this one was an experience.
The End
Annalyse and Brett's Parque Ridley Creek wedding is genuinely one of my favorite weddings I've ever photographed.
It had everything I love: incredible fashion, a wildly beautiful setting, thoughtful design, a couple who trusted me creatively, and a room full of people ready to celebrate.
It felt romantic without being overly traditional.
Beautiful without being stiff.
And, most importantly, like them.
For a photographer, that's the dream.
